Leg six of the Longines Global Champions Tour brings us to Madrid, a city full of joy and motivation. A stunning location set the scene for the exciting battle for first place in the overall Longines ranking. Christian Ahlmann wanting to defend his current first place he has to work hard.

A stunning first round with Marcus Ehning and Bertram Allen leading the 18 qualified riders into the second round. Christian Ahlmann last to go in the first round got qualified with four faults.

Staying calm and in harmony with the horse made Marcus Ehning and Pret a tout win the Longines Global Champions Tour of Madrid. The young rider Bertram Allen and Hector land on place four giving him some precious points for the tour. Christian Ahlmann and Taloubet get the 12 place giving Ahlmann 25 points. Now Ahlmann has a 64 point lead ahead of Emanuele Gaudiano, followed by world's number one Simon Delestre.

Looking ahead for Chantilly and it's stunning scene we will see a battle for 2nd place with Emanuele Gaudiano and Simon Delestre.
