The longines FEI World Cup made a stop at the Jumping International de Bordeaux. Amazing people and loads of success for new young riders. Bertram Allen had a lot of his horses competing last weekend with several great placements.
A great venue with loads of space for horses and riders made one of the last legs of the FEI World cup jumping very special. With world class riders at the start including Paul Estermann for Switzerland who did very well in Zürich and Germany's Ludger Beerbaum the scene was set for an interesting and exciting evening in France.
Well it all came very exciting, Leopold Van Asten set a very good time putting him in the lead with 37.71 seconds. Yet it was topped by an amazing ride from the french Julien Epaillard with a staggering two second lead infront of Van Asten.
It will be intresting who takes in the lead in Götheburg and then later in the final in America, the tension rising and the weather hoping to be good for the final in Omaha.
